Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active HI license and couplet care experience at a rural community hospital.

Details

13-week assignment with 12-hour night shifts
Rural community hospital setting
Labor & Delivery and Nursery unit providing couplet care
Obstetrics patient population with 45-50 deliveries per month
Utilizes intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring
May float to assist other departments but not as a primary nurse
Scheduled for 72-80 working hours every two weeks

Requirements

Active Hawaii (HI) RN license currently in hand
Minimum 4 years of nursing experience required
Labor and Delivery experience required
Couplet care experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Additional certifications may include AWHONN, STABLE, TNCC, CPI, ENPC, RNFA, or others relevant to obstetrics nursing

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor & Delivery and Nursery patients
Opportunity to take on charge nurse duties as needed
Work as part of a team in a rural hospital environment
