Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an OH or compact RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum of 18 months recent ED experience
• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty
• Epic EMR experience required
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED specialty required (references must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months)

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a 6-month break required before returning unless approved by the client
