Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent ED experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ED specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with acceptable scores required (maximum 2 attempts)
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Previous permanent or per diem employees cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
