Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Contract options ranging from 13-20 weeks

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (NIHSS preferred)
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (Cotinine) required for non-RN/CST travelers, updated annually
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Provide Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to achieve a passing score
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved
• Open background check cases will not be accepted; any license hits will not be accepted
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
