Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ years of experience in IR/angio special procedures for a community hospital setting.
Details
- Community hospital Interventional Radiology department
- Daily caseload of approximately 25 patients
- Day shift 4x10 hours, either 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
- Rotating days off with call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
- Epic EMR preferred
- Siemens equipment experience preferred
- Does not float within scope or to sister facilities
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required
- ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
- BLS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Community hospital experience required
- Proficiency with PACS system required
- Biopsy and contrast administration skills required
- Experience required with stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrogram, kyphoplasty, peripheral procedures, drainages, abdominal and pelvic procedures, upper/lower extremity studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and LP myelogram
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing a wide range of IR/angio special procedures and stocking supplies
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
- RTO restrictions are at the manager's discretion
- Block schedule accommodations are at the manager's discretion
- Up to 8 hours of non-billable pre-start training modules must be completed within 1 week of signing
- Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation from the facility before being eligible to return
