Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a compact or PA RN license, EPIC experience, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- On-call responsibilities required with a 30-minute response time
- Weekend and holiday coverage required as needed
- Floating required as needed
- May care for COVID-positive patients
- Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
Requirements
- Active RN license (Compact or PA license required)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- EPIC charting experience required
- No RN license disciplinary actions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, neurology, and more
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel pay rate; local candidates will be offered at a reduced rate
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract
- Travel pairs may apply, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
