Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Cardiac (IMCU) night shift position requiring an active NC or compact RN license and cardiac telemetry experience.

Details

• Stepdown Cardiac (IMCU) unit within a hospital setting
• Serves post heart catheterization patients and other higher acuity cardiac patients stepping down from ICU
• Manages higher acuity drips including precedex, Endotool insulin drips, 0.3% NaCl, dopamine, and dobutamine
• Patient ratios of 1:3-4
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment length
• Floating required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Cardiac stepdown or IMCU nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience helpful

Additional Information

• Provide advanced cardiac monitoring and care for high acuity stepdown patients transitioning from ICU
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Previous employees must have a break in service of at least one year before returning
• Requested time off must be listed on the application and approved prior to confirmation
