Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years' experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
• Provide care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures and other cath lab procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 2-bed unit
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call required 7 days every other week
• EMR systems used: MEDHOST and MacLab
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Serve as a professional caregiver assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and assuming responsibility for patient care via the nursing process
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver patient care
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• No block scheduling or 48-hour scheduling option available
