Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment with day/night rotating shifts.

Acute care setting within a Respiratory Therapy unit
12-hour flexible day/night rotating shifts
Weekend and holiday coverage required
36 guaranteed hours per week
Uses Cerner EMR, which is transitioning to Epic

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC required
Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS
License required if applicable
2 professional references required: 1 from a supervisor and 1 from a peer or supervisor

Additional Information

Provide respiratory therapy care to acute care patients as part of a rotating shift schedule
Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts including weekends and holidays
Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months and require hospital approval to return
