Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications along with a compact or Iowa RN license.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Room department of a Level 3 trauma center hospital
- Night shift schedule with 1900 (7:00 PM) start time
- 12-hour shifts, working 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
- No on-call requirements
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- EMR system used is Epic
Requirements
- Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
- Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
- One supervisory reference required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary emergency care team
- Provide direct patient care management in a Level 3 trauma center setting
- Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must have a taxable address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Prior employment with the facility within the past 12 months may affect eligibility for consideration
