Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications along with a compact or Iowa RN license.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Room department of a Level 3 trauma center hospital
• Night shift schedule with 1900 (7:00 PM) start time
• 12-hour shifts, working 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• EMR system used is Epic

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required
• One supervisory reference required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary emergency care team
• Provide direct patient care management in a Level 3 trauma center setting
• Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the following summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
