Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Stepdown RN with prior cardiac nursing experience for a nights/rotating shift assignment requiring a SD or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care Cardiology Stepdown unit within a hospital setting
- Nights or rotating shifts with 12-hour shifts
- 36 to 48 hours per week, including every other weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) or straight weekends
- Every other holiday coverage required
- Floating expected, with critical care experience preferred to support this
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Cardiac nursing experience required
- Critical care experience preferred due to floating responsibilities
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN not required for this position
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care within a cardiac stepdown unit setting
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
- Candidates who previously worked for the health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility may be considered local
