Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nurse Manager RN for the Operating Room requiring a TX or compact RN license, BSN, and 3+ years of peri-operative leadership experience.

Details

• Operating Room (OR) setting supporting procedures in Ortho, Robotics, and Endo
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• AM shift
• Possible on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BSN degree required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 3 years of peri-operative experience required
• Prior leadership experience in an OR setting required
• Flu shot required with no exemptions granted
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Oversees nursing operations within the OR, including staff development, quality improvement, and departmental goals
• Creates and sustains a healthy, collaborative work environment for nursing and unit-based staff
• Leads shared governance initiatives and evidence-based practice efforts
• Responsible for staff competency, education, and succession planning
• Business dress and/or navy blue attire required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for the travel position
