Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent MRI experience.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department scanning a stable inpatient population
• Works alongside a dedicated tech assistant
• Night shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI
• Current BLS certification required
• Ohio license required if applicable
• Compact licenses accepted for start dates on or after 1/1/23
• One professional reference from a supervisory role (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (Cotinine) required within 12 months of start, updated annually (exemptions apply for Nurses and CSTs)
• Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Responsible for scanning stable inpatient population using MRI equipment
• Will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived
• PAPRs will not be considered as an alternative to facial hair restrictions except with approved medical or religious exemption
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed at the facility prior to start date
• Assignments at this health system are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning
• Facility maintains a strict no-call policy for scheduling inquiries
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
