Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Technologist for a Level I trauma setting requiring ARRT (R) certification and OR/C-arm experience.
Details
- 13-week travel assignment in the X-Ray department
- Day shift, 2x12 hours, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Every Saturday and Sunday required
- No on-call requirements
- Rotations include ER, children's ER, fluoro, ports, and inpatient routine x-rays
- EPIC charting system used
- Any color scrubs allowed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- OR experience required
- C-arm knowledge required
- Level I trauma experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- License required if applicable
- Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs x-ray imaging across abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and upper/lower extremities
- Utilizes PACS equipment and performs mobile/surgical C-arm procedures
- Works with adult and pediatric patient populations in acute care and outpatient settings
- Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Demonstrates age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at a different rate
- RTO must be submitted at time of application and cannot be added afterward
