Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for an outpatient clinic setting requiring ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting performing MRI examinations for physician interpretation
- Reports to the site supervisor and manager of radiology
- Schedule is M-F 5x8 shifts (12:30p-9p), with potential for 4x10s (10:30a-9p) or 3x12s (8:30a-9p)
- Weekend requirement includes rotating Saturday shifts (8a-4p) with adjusted weekday hours to total 40 hours
- No on-call requirement
- Potential to float between Clements Ferry and East Cooper locations
- Skills include general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment
- Epic used for charting, with Sectra and Epic experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency
- Experience with Siemens equipment required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Adult acute care work setting experience
- SSN and driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols on adult patient populations
- Teal top and black pants scrub color required
- First-time travelers will be considered depending on the position
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
- Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Radius rule of 60 miles applies, with non-local candidates prioritized
- Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)
- Non-billable training modules average 4 hours and must be completed prior to start
