Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift contract requiring a WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg unit caring for an adult patient population
- 13-week contract with day shift hours from 0645-1915
- 36 guaranteed hours per week with every other weekend off
- Opportunity to pick up extra shifts as available
- Floating to other departments required on a rotating basis
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR helpful but not required
Requirements
- Active WA state RN license or multi-state compact license required
- Multi-state license holders must complete Nursys demographic verification
- Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med/Surg patients as part of a collaborative nursing team
- Facility located close to Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest
- Requested time off must be approved in advance and will be added to the end of the contract
- Must be a team player with a flexible, collaborative approach to patient care
