Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of large ED experience and multiple certifications including TNCC.
Details
- Work in a 65-bed Emergency Services department
- Patient ratios: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
- Uses Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infuser equipment
- Epic EMR system used
- Schedule consists of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mid-shift 3x12s (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
- Weekend coverage required every Saturday and Sunday
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required according to skill set
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Previous emergency nursing experience in a large ED required
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes in a fast-paced environment
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Navy blue scrubs required
- EKG testing required as part of the qualification process, with two attempts allowed
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate
