Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehab/acute care unit, requiring 1+ year of experience and offering flexible scheduling.

• >Inpatient rehabilitation and acute care unit within a 135-bed community hospital
• 13-week travel assignment with shifts from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling options including 5x8 or 4x10 workweeks
• One Saturday shift per month with a flex day off granted during the week
• Requires working every other weekend and holidays on rotation with hospital staff
• Floating required between IRF and Acute care units
• Uses Meditech documentation system
• Specialized equipment includes Lite Gait, BITS, Nustep, and IASTM

Requirements

• >Current, active Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, though candidates with less may be considered
• Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred but not required
• Must be a strong independent clinician with basic Occupational Therapy skills
• Willingness to learn and remain flexible throughout the workday
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
