Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 18 months of specialty experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (NIHSS preferred)
• One manager, ANM, supervisor, or director reference from the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved
