Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform breast imaging procedures on a 13-week day shift assignment.
Details
- Day shift schedule, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 3 shifts per week at 12 hours per shift
- 13-week contract length
- Performs radiographic and mammography procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for diagnostic interpretation and/or intervention
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Ability to corroborate patient clinical history with procedure documentation
- Ability to prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions
Additional Information
- Applies x-ray energy and medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment
- Exercises professional judgment while maintaining a demeanor complementary to medical ethics
- Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential to successful procedure completion
- Produces diagnostic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner
