Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a Days shift assignment requiring a VT or compact RN license and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in a Critical Access Hospital setting on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Care for adult, orthopedic, and pediatric patient populations
- Also covers Observation, PCU, Step Down, and Special Care units
- Days shift schedule
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active VT or compact RN license required upon acceptance
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS (or ENPC) certification required
- De-escalation training required prior to contract start, or must be booked at time of clinical orientation
Additional Information
- Deliver age-specific, direct patient care following the Nursing Process and Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care
- Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other staff levels
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and policies
