Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool night shift position requiring prior travel experience and a TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg Float Pool position
- General Med/Surg patient population, ages 18+
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Weekend shifts required
- No block schedule offered; flexibility required to meet unit staffing needs
- Floating required among 5 Med/Surg units as well as to the ER as needed
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Navy scrubs required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a general Med/Surg unit and float pool setting
- No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for standard travel rate eligibility
