Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a busy Emergency Department, requiring a compact or VA RN license, night shift experience, and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 34 beds and approximately 44,000 visits per year
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses EKG, Lucas device, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, and point-of-care/IStat testing equipment
• Meditech EMR system used
• Team includes charge nurses, triage nurses, RNs, and paramedics per shift
• Performs stroke, sepsis, and trauma protocols along with triage, IV initiation, and moderate sedation

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required
• CEN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
• Positive, outgoing, hardworking, and team-oriented candidates preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
