Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of general RT experience and NICU skills for a night shift travel position.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit in a 140-bed facility
- Adult and NICU patient populations
- Uses Hamilton C1, V60, and Hamilton MR1 ventilators, along with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, and Bubble CPAP
- Documentation completed in Meditech
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts per week including every other weekend
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RRT license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of general Respiratory Therapy experience required
- NICU experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP certification required for staff caring for neonates (may obtain after hire)
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients within the NICU
- Perform ventilation management using advanced equipment including the Hamilton C1
- All black scrubs required as part of the dress code
- Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not eligible
- First-time travelers may be considered based on required experience
