Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with 3+ years of acute hospital experience and active RDCS certification.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department performing echocardiography services
- Adult echo studies including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, effusions, 2D & 3D TEEs, and hypertensive heart disease studies
- Pediatric experience is a plus but not required
- Uses Canon i700 and i900 ultrasound equipment
- EMR is Epic
- 40-hour work week with variable shift scheduling
- Call coverage required when appropriate
- Floating to other departments may be required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting
- RDCS certification required with active AHA BLS
- ARDMS or CCI certification accepted
- State license required if applicable
- Competent to proficient in adult echocardiography studies as described
Additional Information
- All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
- Candidates should plan to arrive the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health on Friday morning
- Dress code includes personal scrubs and healthcare professional attire
