Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift ICU/ER position requiring 3-5+ years of general respiratory care experience.

Details

• 176-bed hospital respiratory therapy unit
• General respiratory care in ICU/ER settings
• Patient ratio of 45:1
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Night shift schedule, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling available upon request

Requirements

• CRT or RRT credential accepted
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• 3-5+ years of experience in ICU/ER and general respiratory care required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide general respiratory care services to ICU and ER patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within the radius will not be considered
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any facility within this health system in the past 2 years will not be considered for this travel position
