Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position covering Post-Partum and Baby Unit on night shift, requiring a VT or compact RN license and 5+ years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit, including Post-Partum and Baby Unit, of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Night shift schedule
• 13-week assignment
• Floating required to other units and to cover overflow from the Progressive Care Unit

Requirements

• Active RN license (VT state license or compact) required, obtainable upon acceptance
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit populations
• Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border, offering access to outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
• Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation in the area
• Agency professionals are required to attend department quarterly education sessions
