Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a day shift hospital position requiring current state licensure and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Hospital setting providing cardiopulmonary care services
- Day shift hours from 6:30am to 7:00pm
- Rotating weekend schedule
- Rotating call schedule
- 6-week assignment length
Requirements
- Current active state license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- CRT or RRT certification required
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Additional Information
- Provide cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with physician orders and department policies and procedures
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and understand associated purposes and side effects
- Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators including airway management and tracheal suctioning
- Maintain knowledge of various oxygen delivery methods and equipment
- May be exposed to communicable diseases
