Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Epic EMR experience and active NY licensure.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital's South Clinical Campus
• 13-week assignment with day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required approximately 4 times per month from 3:30 AM to 9:30 PM
• Holiday coverage on a rotating basis

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• Current AHA or RQI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with any required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• RTO must be requested at the time of submission
