Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU night shift position requiring 18 months of recent CVICU experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the CVICU unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty being applied for required
• 18 months of recent CVICU experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with nicotine (Cotinine) testing required within 12 months of start, updated annually (nurses are currently exempt from the nicotine-free requirement)

Additional Information

• Complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both (maximum of 2 attempts)
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, with a required break before returning to the same health system
