Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and combined specialty experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele (MS/Tele) unit setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• 15-week assignment length
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Requirements

• Active permanent OH RN license or compact RN license required in hand
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Facility does not accept candidates with any license hits
• Any background check hits are reviewed by the facility but candidates with open cases will not be accepted
• Nurses are temporarily exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement until further notice
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may be extended up to a maximum of 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved by the client
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
