Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience with current fetal heart monitoring skills.
Details
- LDRP unit managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care
- Does not include circulating or scrubbing in the OR
- Uses OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for EHR
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Requirements
- Active OR RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP
- OBIX and EPIC experience highly preferred
- EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
- Resume required for consideration
- Skills checklist within 1 year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Apply the nursing process to patient care within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Educate patients, significant others, and support persons
- Document patient care in the medical record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care
