Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• work in the Emergency Department of a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed unit
• Patient population includes all age ranges within the general population
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• 12-hour evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
• Weekend and holiday shifts required
• No floating or charge nurse duties required

Requirements

• Active TN or Multistate/Compact RN license required on file at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required
• No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to an Epic Go Live event
• Orientation dates available on 8/31, 9/14, 9/21, and 9/28
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Radius rule of 75 miles applies for travel rate eligibility
