Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work in a 270-bed hospital's 44-bed Emergency Department
- General adult and pediatric patient population in the ED
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5
- 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- No block schedule offered; must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend and holiday shifts required
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active TN or Multistate RN license required on file at time of consideration
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care across a general adult and pediatric patient population
- Navy scrubs required
- No time off approved from 9/19 to 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Orientation dates limited to 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26
- Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
- Radius rule of 75 miles applies for standard travel rate eligibility
