Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience for a trauma level 2 teaching facility.

Details

  • Work in the Heart Cath Lab at the main hospital campus
  • Patient ratio of 1:1
  • 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
  • Floating is not required
  • On-call requirements include 1 night weekly and 1 weekend every 4th weekend
  • EPIC EMR experience is required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab specialty experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
  • ARRT certification with FL license required, or RCIS, or RCES (license required if applicable)
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor during procedures

Additional Information

  • Facility is a trauma level 2 teaching hospital
  • Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
  • Orientation held every Monday
  • Prior travel experience is not required, making this a good fit for first-time travelers
  • Local candidates are accepted, except those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
  • Block scheduling is not accommodated
