Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Endoscopy position requiring PACU experience and dysrhythmia management skills, with no weekends, holidays, or call.

Details

• Work in the Endo Prep PACU unit of a hospital setting
• Provide pre and post procedural care for adult patients
• Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• No holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating requirements
• Uses Epic EMR in the OpTime module

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• PACU experience required
• Dysrhythmia management experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ICU experience preferred
• 1-2 previous travel assignments preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Critical Care Certification preferred
• Trauma course completion preferred
• IV access/certification preferred for Prep area

Additional Information

• Deliver pre and post procedural nursing care to adult endoscopy patients
• Comparable facility size experience required, with 500+ bed facility experience needed for this large academic medical center
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers may be considered with appropriate experience
