Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift position requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of Med Surg experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Patient ratio of 1:5-6
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float across all campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine)
• May float to Stepdown unit as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license in Illinois required at time of submission
• Iowa RN license also required, or proof of application for Iowa single-state or compact license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
• Stepdown/Cardiac experience preferred
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration

• Provide professional clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team

• Required to work 1-2 of 3 Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Candidates must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Prior employment with the health system within the last 12 months must be disclosed and may affect eligibility
