Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring 2+ years of LDR experience and willingness to float to MS/pediatric patients.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery (LDR) unit of a rural hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Required to work every other weekend
• On-call responsibilities of 2-3 shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required in rotation
• Floating required to Med-Surg (MS) unit for overflow patients, including pediatric patient care

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AHA)
• Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already certified
• Fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) completed within the past 24 months required
• Minimum 2 years of LDR experience required
• 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Additional Information

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care with willingness to float to Med-Surg and care for pediatric patients as needed
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same bill rate, except candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
