Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift rural hospital position requiring 2+ years of LDR experience and willingness to float to Med-Surg.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a rural hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Floating to Medical-Surgical unit required for overflow patients, including pediatric patient care
• Every other weekend required
• 2-3 on-call shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required in rotation
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Must be fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already certified
• Fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) completed within the past 24 months required
• Minimum 2 years of LDR experience required
• 3+ years of LDR experience in a rural hospital setting preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and support overflow Med-Surg and pediatric patients as needed
• Monday virtual orientation provided
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate, except for this location which requires candidates to live outside a 60-mile radius for travel rate eligibility
