Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a NM or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a hospital setting
• 199-bed hospital located in Las Cruces, New Mexico
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 12-week assignment duration
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays

Requirements

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Fingerprint background check required prior to hire, with documentation showing the check is in process
• Candidates may start on a 14-day supervised waiver while background check results are pending
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Joint Commission accredited hospital
• Facility is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
