Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a compact or NM RN license and 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 199-bed hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) valid in New Mexico currently in hand
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• All clinical staff must be fingerprinted prior to hire per New Mexico state requirement
• May start on a 14-day waiver while fingerprint results are pending, but must be supervised during this period
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Facility is Joint Commission Accredited, a Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and a Certified Primary Stroke Center
• Provides a full spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative care on both inpatient and outpatient bases
• Located in the Mesilla Valley of southern New Mexico with year-round sunshine and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
