Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active Iowa or compact RN license and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Room setting
• Full-time night shift schedule: 6pm - 6:30am
• 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license or compact license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Prior ER experience preferred but not required
• Resume and two recent employment references required for consideration
• Proof of immunizations required including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TDaP, and Flu vaccination
• Negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold within 1 year of start required
• Proof of physical exam within 1 year of start date required
• 10-panel drug screen within 1 month of start date required
• Respiratory fit test within 1 year of start date required
• Completion of Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates required

Additional Information

• Provide total patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs in the ER
• Direct and guide patient teaching and ancillary personnel activities while maintaining professional nursing standards
• Completion of facility-specific CareLearning education modules required prior to start
• Criminal background check required covering all states of licensure and residence/work history within the past 7 years
• National and/or state sex offender registry check required
