Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with ARDMS RDCS certification and 2+ years experience in a community hospital setting.

Details

• Work within Echo/Cardiac unit performing echocardiography studies across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU settings
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with occasional 8:30 AM rotations
• Rotating weekends required, approximately 1 in every 4
• May be required to float to other Cone Health facilities as needed
• Uses PACS and Philips equipment
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS RDCS (AE) or CCI RCS certification required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• GE and/or Philips equipment experience required
• Experience with 3D strain image enhancing, TEE, Stress Echo, and Endo TE required
• Community hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills required include Adult Echo, 2-D and 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, and Routine studies
• TEE experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of echocardiographic studies including adult, 2-D, 3-D, contrast, and portable imaging across multiple care settings
• May be asked to float to other Cone Health campuses as part of scheduling flexibility
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; no post-submission RTO accepted
