Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift hospital assignment supporting ICU, ED, and all floor units.
Details
- Respiratory Care department in a hospital setting with 134 beds
- All patient types across the facility
- Patient ratios vary by unit
- Utilizes equipment including PB 980, V60, Airvo, and Aerogen
- Uses Epic EMR
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend requirement of 24 of the 36 scheduled hours
- No call requirements
- Float requirement to ICU, ED, and all floor units
Requirements
- RRT or CRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- State license required, if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
- Experience working independently across ICU, ED, and floor units required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy care across ICU, ED, and all floor units
- Work independently while collaborating with a variety of personalities and care teams
- Complete Epic training or test out if eligible prior to first day
- Complete required hospital education modules prior to start
- Grey scrubs required; ripped or torn jeans, tank tops, and flip flops are not permitted
- Enter through the ED on first day and contact respiratory department upon arrival
- Employee parking available within designated lined areas
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
