Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 2+ years of experience for a day shift hospital assignment supporting ICU, ED, and all floor units.

Details

• Respiratory Care department in a hospital setting with 134 beds
• All patient types across the facility
• Patient ratios vary by unit
• Utilizes equipment including PB 980, V60, Airvo, and Aerogen
• Uses Epic EMR
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend requirement of 24 of the 36 scheduled hours
• No call requirements
• Float requirement to ICU, ED, and all floor units

Requirements

• RRT or CRT certification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State license required, if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
• Experience working independently across ICU, ED, and floor units required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy care across ICU, ED, and all floor units
• Work independently while collaborating with a variety of personalities and care teams
• Complete Epic training or test out if eligible prior to first day
• Complete required hospital education modules prior to start
• Grey scrubs required; ripped or torn jeans, tank tops, and flip flops are not permitted
• Enter through the ED on first day and contact respiratory department upon arrival
• Employee parking available within designated lined areas
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
