Description

American Traveler is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift hospital assignment requiring LA state licensure and NBRC certification.

Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 7 on / 7 off scheduling pattern (Wednesday to Wednesday)
• 12-week contract length
• Local candidates accepted
• May be required to float in rotation with facility staff according to facility floating policies

Requirements

• Louisiana state RRT license required if applicable
• Will accept either CRT or RRT certification
• NBRC certification required
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Expect to work some holidays during the assignment
• Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum, especially avoiding the first two weeks of the assignment or full calendar weeks off
• Any time off requests must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment
• Completion of 4 hours of non-billable training modules via HealthStream is required
