Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist for a West Portland, OR area assignment requiring an active OR OT license and 1+ year of skilled home health experience.
Details
- Home health setting serving West Portland, OR and surrounding areas
- Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 1:1 patient ratio with up to 6 patient visits per day
- Standard productivity expectation of 30 points
- No weekend requirement
- No on-call requirement
- No floating between like units required
- Charting completed via EPIC Remote Client for Home Health (laptop) and Rover phone app, with Oasis documentation
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- 4x10 or 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license required for state of practice, if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
- BLS certification required
- Oasis documentation experience required; candidates without this experience should note so
- Primary series COVID-19 vaccination required
- Reliable personal transportation required for daily travel between patient visits
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients across a defined geographic area
- Daily travel radius may reach up to approximately 60 miles, with total drive time of 60-90 minutes
- System groups clients to help minimize drive and windshield time
- Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not mandatory, no jeans permitted
- Free parking available
- Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-75 mile radius at the same rate
- Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)
