Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ED experience and prior travel nursing history.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Cerner charting system, experience required
• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Weekday schedule with every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• No call, charge, or float responsibilities

Requirements

• Active WV RN license or compact license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• 5 years of ED experience preferred
• Small ED background preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Cerner charting experience required
• Skilled in triage and IV starts
• Experience in trauma, stroke, cardiac monitoring, and STEMI-certified facility care preferred
• Experience managing pediatric emergencies, respiratory conditions, and psychiatric/behavioral health cases

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of adult and pediatric conditions including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and psychiatric emergencies
• Facility may consider blocked schedule requests if submitted at time of profile submittal
• Must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Burgundy scrubs required
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
