Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position requiring a compact RN license, ACLS/BLS certification, and float availability to the transitional care unit.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital environment
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Provides cardiac monitoring and emergency response care
• Utilizes Rapid Response/Code teams
• Performs IV therapy, phlebotomy, and peripheral line care/management
• Provides respiratory support including nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, and oxygen administration
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Float required to the Transitional Care Unit
• Cerner charting system used in hospital, PCC used in LTC

Requirements

• Active Montana or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, PALS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Critical care or ER experience is a plus but not required
• Charting system experience required (any system accepted)
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care including cardiac monitoring, IV therapy, and respiratory support
• Respond to rapid response and code team situations as needed
• Travel pairs accepted
• Hospital housing available
• Maximum 5-7 days of RTO for auto-offer consideration
