Description
American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and Trauma Level 1 hospital experience.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI department serving adult acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient patient populations
- Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, Wednesday-Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- No call requirements
- Uses Epic EMR and Philips MRI equipment with PACS system
- Performs abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI studies
- May float to other units or campuses per facility need, limited to areas of demonstrated competency
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARRT MR certification with MRI listed, BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Trauma Level 1 hospital experience required
- 1+ year of Epic EMR experience required
- Teaching hospital experience preferred
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
- Must be able to work with adult and pediatric patient populations
Additional Information
- Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular studies including MRA, MRV, and MRCP
- Utilize specialized imaging techniques such as CINE flow studies, gradient echo imaging, perfusion imaging, and image post-processing
- Hunter Green scrubs required
- Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
- First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
