Description

American Traveler is hiring a MRI Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and Trauma Level 1 hospital experience.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department serving adult acute care, ICU, ER/trauma, and outpatient patient populations
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, Wednesday-Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• No call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR and Philips MRI equipment with PACS system
• Performs abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular MRI studies
• May float to other units or campuses per facility need, limited to areas of demonstrated competency

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MR certification with MRI listed, BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• Trauma Level 1 hospital experience required
• 1+ year of Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts preferred
• Must be able to work with adult and pediatric patient populations

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular studies including MRA, MRV, and MRCP
• Utilize specialized imaging techniques such as CINE flow studies, gradient echo imaging, perfusion imaging, and image post-processing
• Hunter Green scrubs required
• Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance requirements
• First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
