Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring active MA licensure and Ophthalmology/ENT experience.
Details
- Work in the 6th Floor Surgical Suites of a hospital setting
- Ophthalmology and ENT surgical case experience required
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-17:30
- 13-week assignment length
- Epic charting system used
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required, no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Primary source verification of professional license required within 30 days of start, including NURSYS and BON verification
- Ophthalmology and ENT experience required
Additional Information
- Provide immediate and long-term nursing care for surgical patients utilizing the nursing process
- Perform accurate patient assessments, point-of-care testing, and safe medication administration
- Communicate patient status effectively during clinical rounds and shift reports
- Utilize evidence-based nursing practices and prioritize patient care needs
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
