Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring an active MA RN license and ophthalmology and ENT experience.
Details
- Work in the 6th Floor Surgical Suites of a hospital operating room setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-17:30
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Ophthalmology and ENT experience required
- Primary source verification of professional license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration
- Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing interventions, and evaluating care effectiveness throughout the surgical process
- Performs point of care testing and accurate documentation of patient response to interventions
- Communicates patient clinical status during clinical team rounds and shift changes
- Utilizes evidence-based nursing knowledge to guide practice decisions
- May provide leadership in organizing patient care and directing support staff
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
