Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with ARRT-R certification and Cath Lab/Angio scrub experience for a teaching hospital's Level I Trauma Cardiac Cath Lab.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital with Adult Level I Trauma designation
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab setting
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- One weekend per 4 weeks (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) with potential additional open call shift
- On-call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per 4 weeks, from Friday end of shift to Monday 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response time
- Uses Epic EMR
- Float within site and across the system as requested
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-R certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Experience in both Cath Lab and Angio with scrub experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Skills required in cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), interpretation of dysrhythmias, PCI, and PTCA
- Experience with equipment set up and isolation precautions/PPE
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including stent placement, PCI, and PTCA
- Responsible for equipment set up and adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Scrubs provided for Cath Lab staff
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Free parking available in unrestricted spaces, with EV charging available
- Education modules must be completed within one week of assignment start
