Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT accepted) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a major academic medical center.

Details

• Work within the Respiratory Therapy department (RRT unit) at a major academic medical center
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend coverage as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed
• 13-week assignment length with 8 or 12-week options available

Requirements

• CRT or RRT certification accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand
• BLS certification required, active and in hand
• Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start, updated annually
• Must be nicotine-free as facility is a smoke-free environment with no exceptions
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract

Additional Information

• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• First-time travelers will be considered as travel experience is not required
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be discussed and finalized during the interview process
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions with the client are permitted for up to 18 months total, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any location within this health system
• Background check results of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and license-related issues are not accepted
